As for me, I don't have much time on active holidays because I have a lot of homework. My family is more the stay-at-home sort, so I can't spend the time with them somehow actively. My company is my friend and, you know, our trips are usually very jolly. I'd like to try rafting this spring, because it implies a well coordinated team work, good reaction and nerves of steel.
Anyway, you've mentioned a project. Do you like writing about events of the past? What events did you choose for your project? Are they from the same historical period?

Well, in Russia we don't pay much attention to clothes but of course everybody wants to look great! Actually, any clothes will do if a person feels comfortable. As for me, I usually wear a skirt and a smart blouse. You were quite right not to take any notice of your friend's clothes. If I were you, I would have done the same. It's not the clothes that count, after all.
By the way, what birthday presents did you get? Did your parents give you what you wanted? As for me, I prefer books.

I believe that doing sport and having a balanced diet makes people healthy and athletic, and healthy living prolongs your life and fills you with energy.

As far as I understand, if your parents tell you what you should wear to school or the theatre, you need to listen to them. But if you just go for a walk with your friends, you have the right to choose. My advice is not to treat the arguments with your parents seriously and be ready for a compromise.

Despite this fact, I play in a band. As for me, I don't like pop music, sorry for saying that. If I were you I would choose the guitar to play. If you don't have any time to go to a musical school, you can take privatelessons. Usually, it makes the process of studying faster.

I think that it's a really good idea to work in the summer. As a matter of fact, one of my friends worked last summer and he really liked it. He distributed fliers. Besides, I think that to work as a waiter for some time is ok, too. I heard that the money is good and it's not hard work as well.
You can also try to work as a delivery man. However, there might be some problems with finding a job. As far as I know, employers don't like to hire teenagers but I think that you can manage it.
